The newest trend in “green” living is to grow and keep your own food. Chickens fit well into the suburban life style, they are easy to care for, some breeds give eggs daily and well.. if you grow tried of caring for them, they taste great.  I do know a family that keeps 10 chickens and the eggs are the best I have ever had. Also chickens keep the yard looking great because they eat bugs and stuff.. I don’t think I can keep then in Ashburn.. dammit.

Everyone talks about wanting to be “exclusive”, well I bet you would be the only girl in the club with a pair of “tree rat” paws on your ears..

This makes me feel alot better about the USA!

If you where starting to worry about the United States, you can rest assured that we are still bad asses. When I see things like this I know we are going to be OK.  We may be fat, and we may be lazy.. but hot damn when it comes to making cool stuff to kill people with we are still number ONE!

OOOMS Road Kill Carpet

I have a “fetish” for off beat style. I enjoy beautiful things that make you stop and think.  The Oooms Road Kill Carpet is a a great example of this. It is a masterfully hand woven rug in a deep gray. I can hear people now. “what a soft rug… wait is that a dead fox?”..

Beo Sound 3

Another beautiful and most likely disappointing sounding radio from bang-olufsen. Being a “radiofile” I love the rechargeable battery and no wires angle. It is a shame that bang-olufsen has always screamed “I have money but I don’t know any better!”
