The newest trend in “green” living is to grow and keep your own food. Chickens fit well into the suburban life style, they are easy to care for, some breeds give eggs daily and well.. if you grow tried of caring for them, they taste great.  I do know a family that keeps 10 chickens and the eggs are the best I have ever had. Also chickens keep the yard looking great because they eat bugs and stuff.. I don’t think I can keep then in Ashburn.. dammit.
